My name is Diana, I live in Portugal and my shoe size is 36. I like ice creams and long walks on the beach where I can leave my small footprints along the sand. But how about my ecological foot printprint? How big is the footprint I'm leaving in the world?
I decided to find out, so I used the Ecological Footprint Calculator from Tread Lightly ( http://treadlightly.tigweb.org/challenges/ ). Here are the results:

I thought I actually was on a good path and had an environmental friendly lifestyle, was I wrong. I'm leaving a 5.5 footprint in the world and producing 12.8 tonnes of carbon emissions.
So I decided to sign on board the Tread Lightly Challange ( http://treadlightly.tigweb.org/challenges/ ) and start taking measures to reduce my ecological footprint in the next 8 months.
In this blog I hope to share with you my plans and my progresses to get greener feet.
